Tagima Signature GuitarS by Vernon Neilly Guitar Clinic's Raphael Nery reviews VN-2: This guitar has a great look and it was designed by Vernon Neilly with star inlays on the neck and a nice comfortable body design. There is a difference between the two models built for Vernon because of the woods. The Sunburst one has a rosewood fretboard so the sound of this guitar gets more bass than the Blue one, which has a sound with a little more clarity due to its maple neck. When it comes about pickups, we have a nice surprise. This model has three Seymour Duncan's which bring a very high quality sound. In the Bridge, we have a Jeff Beck model responsible for a crystalline tone that really brings a special quality for this position. For the middle position we have a single-coil - SSL7 model which opens possibilities for a clean and defined sound, and for the neck we have a 59 model which is very useful to get a "fat" sound. The Wilkinson allows the user who enjoys it to make nice movements and explore all of it, but don't worry about the tuning, because the tuners are Gotoh locking and the graphite nut assures smooth travel of the strings through the nut, keeping tuning consistent. Others nice tools are the optional "Push-Pull" pots which makes the humbuckers sound like single-coils giving you a Stratocaster sound, and the combination of the 5 position selector switch, which gives you a lot of tonal variations. There also an option for maximum neck adjustment. Surely this guitar is one master piece more made by Tagima whose head of production is the master luthier Marcio Zaganin. You will feel like getting this instrument for it's beauty, easy playing, sound, and quality, which makes the instrument well worth it.
